The Girl In The Yellow Dress

The girl in the yellow dress…pictured in this post, me. I want to give you all a life update, if you want to know keep reading, if you want to get straight to the post skip ahead to the second paragraph and no hard feelings at all! My life has been so hectic lately because I have been making changes in my life that will shape my future, my career and let me tell you.. I am beyond stressed out. I’m taking everyday one day at a time remembering to just breathe and be lost in God’s grace, it’s just so hard sometimes. Have you ever made a HUGE decision in your life and felt a sense of peace….from within …from the Universe.. somewhere, something just peacefulness? That is the point that I am at with my decision. I am at peace because my life career will be making a difference in the world starting with one person at a time. I have a long journey ahead, definitely hitting the books once again but if a few years is all it takes to make a difference in this world I’ll take the challenge. I hope to grow immensely in every single corner of myself. I’m scared, nervous, excited, anxious, any feeling you could possibly think…you better believe I probably felt it during this transition. During this process I simply pray this verse over and over. Philippians 4:6-7; 6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses every man’s understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

I wanted to share my favorite yellow dress I’ve been wearing almost once a week. I’ve been on a yellow craze for some reason. I saw this dress online and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I also packed it on my last adventure by the sea. This dress is a halter top and so incredibly comfortable for an evening of relaxing. I wore my dress with this adorable bracelet from J.crew that I adore, I’ve always had a charm bracelet growing up and it reminded of all those bracelets I collected growing up. I braided my hair only because it was so hot and I didn’t want to bother with my hair. I loved the way my outfit came out! I had to share right away! 🤗 Thanks for stopping by! Love , Elle. ❤️
