Lemonade darling?

Hello my amazing readers! I don’t know if you’ve noticed this recent trend but I feel like this lemon print is everywhere, I’m not sure if it’s because of summer or Beyoncé ‘s new album, lemonade. I happen to already own this amazing silk lemon printed dress I absolutely adore and thought this dress was obviously worthy of being featured on my blog. You might’ve seen it on my New York, New York travel post within a million other pictures but dressed down! I’ve worn this dress with sneakers and a brown leather belt. I love how versatile and easily it can be dressed down or dressed up. For my look today I wore these yellow satin heels that remind of Marie Antionette (I have this obsession with her lifestyle, decor, fashion, and just anything related to royalty). You can think of this look as the modern day Queen Marie Antionette. 🤗 As for my blazer, it’s probably the best investment I’ve made and if there’s any tip I can give any girl it has to be to invest in a blazer that will be in your closet for years to come. It’s just such a classic timeless piece especially when it’s been altered to fit you like a glove. 😍✨ Remember quality over quantity is the key! Leading me to my Chanel bag, simply a classic piece like this will never go out of style and can even be passed down to the next generation.

Bohemian Blue

Hi guys! I have found the cutest little boutique in Laguna Niguel right by the beach, BDM, this boutique sells brands such as Ella Moss, Rag and Bone, Paige, and many other amazing brands! I actually won a contest they were holding and was able to get this amazing blue romper. I seriously have the worst luck when it comes to contests or raffles, I never win anything ever, so when I actually won I was so excited! You have to make sure to follow them on Instagram because that is where the contest was held. I chose this amazing little blue romper because I loved the color and the fabric, it’s such a fresh fabric making it great for summer weather. I added on this coin belt and chose my gladiator sandals I love so much! Pairing it with my favorite summer day clutch that has this amazing print! That is all for my outfit, let me know in the comments what you think or if you have any questions regarding the items! & A big thank you to ABM boutique!😘

The color of summer.

I know recently I posted a white lace romper but I have a confession…I can never and will never deny a beautiful white romper. Besides, this romper is by far my favorite romper in my closet and for good reasons too that I’m sure you can pretty much guess. The details!!!!🙌🏼👌🏼👍🏼 I adore all the details of this romper and must admit the price is pretty amazing too! Since the romper does all the talking there’s really no need for accessories unless they are dainty pieces I wouldn’t overdo it for this romper. Just a few bracelets and my watch and my favorite ZARA sale steal, nude gladiator sandals! The best accessory has got to be my cutie Monaco Rafael of course! 🐶  As always details provided at the bottom!

Summer Spice

I have always opted for skirts and dresses ever since my adolescence so finding new ways to style my skirts and dresses excites me🙊! !Today I am here with a cute way to add some spice to your styling ways of life! I know you can probably guess what this spice I speak of is…and yes, you’re right…I added a little knot to my basic tee instead of tucking it in! It’s such a simple detail but automatically adds a little spice✨! It instantly makes a more chic, summery, fresh touch to any look. I actually found this little trick while browsing through Pinterest, which I do regularly, I’m Pinterest addicted!! I can also guarantee this trick will keep you a lot more cool during the day..trust me! There’s no need to do a picture tutorial because I think everyone knows how to tie a knot, it’s simple, simple🤗! Hope you try it and love it as much as I do! Have a wonderful week!!

Elle’s Tips & Tricks when running late

Have you ever woken up late with no time to do your hair or your makeup? I am guilty of this at least once a week and it’s usually monday morning for me!😁 I wanted to share a few tricks of mine when I’m running late.👌🏼 One thing I try to do monday morning is choose a dress so that I don’t have to put much effort and time into actually styling an outfit! Another thing I do is style a braid or bun, here I made a ponytail braid! It’s also a great alternative to applying heat to your hair so I’m all in! As for makeup, keep it minimal, you’re already running short on time! Maybe even consider letting your skin breathe for a day! When I’m fresh faced I make sure to moisturize my skin and put sunscreen since my face will be more exposed and vulnerable to the sun. This day I simply added Chanel Le Volume mascara, touched up my brows with the Anastasia eyebrow pencil, brushed on some pink swoon MAC powder blush and was running out the door for work! I remember I used to feel so insecure without makeup but then one day I wore nothing and was dreading all the weird looks I would get…but no one noticed!! All my friends said I looked the same so that just goes to show we create our own insecurities! I know it’s only a few tricks but when you’re running late only a few are necessary, hope they help you too.

Chic peek!

The anniversary sale at Nordstrom ends on the 7th, have you finished all your shopping yet?! These fall items will be going back to full price on that date so hurry over to Nordstrom for some amazing deals! I recently went and picked a few items but my favorite has got to be this amazing navy pleated skirt from Topshop. I paired it with this simple white tee and little open toe strappy heels. I added a pop of color with my mini bag and kept accessories simple and clean! 🤗  As always details at the end!
