Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona has so much to offer having so many beautiful places to see, museums, shopping areas, restaurants, and beaches there was absolutely no way someone won’t find something to do in this city!

Parc Güell
Parc Güell was the first places I wanted to visit while in Barcelona. It had been on my bucket list for a few years now and the reason I wanted to visit it is because of all the beautiful pictures out there. I’m also a fan of Gaudi’s work. He is an inspiring architecture that sadly his work is not really seen anymore….. at least not in the states. I just had to see it for myself and it was absolutely breathtaking in real life. I seriously had to just stop and take it all in for a few seconds because I couldn’t believe my eyes. This architecture is beyond incredible, so detailed and just amazing I almost cried of amazement.
Here are a few pictures from my visit.

FOOD
OH MY GOSH!! Don’t get me started on the food because I still can’t stop thinking about it that I’m going to have to attempt to recreate some meals I had. Anyways, the very first meal I had in Barcelona were spanish croquetas con jamòn and patatas bravas (bravas as in spicy….which happened to be way too spicy surprisingly!) The drink I am holding is a sumo de piña which happens to be the only drink I would drink, not only in Barcelona but when I was in Spain. The burger was eaten at the Barceloneta overlooking the beach and it was absolutely delicious and had no meat which was interesting but just as good. Everywhere I went I had to try a scoop or two of their ice cream, I feel like everywhere around the world they have ice cream and it always tastes so different but never fails to satisfy The last picture is my last breakfast, it is a bagel with egg and guacamole. I love bagels so this meal just hit the spot along with this strawberry smoothie.

Flamenco Show
One random night with nothing to do we decided to buy tickets to a flamenco show, very last minute we barely made it, and it was probably one of my favorite things we did. All of the dancers were just so passionate and in love with what they were doing that it was genuinely expressed through their dancing. I had goosebumps during the whole show and just so overwhelmed with the beauty of the theatre and their almost organic way of dancing. Everything just seemed to flow along with all the dancers.

The beautiful streets.                                                                                                                                Now something that I know is really random and maybe even a little weird that I am obsessed with are the random beautiful streets a city has. Every city has one and Barcelona was full of random little streets, I just need to stop and take a picture in it or of it! So, here are a few pictures of random beautiful streets.
